Pull Tongue Trailer Conversion (PTC)
A Brown Cargo Van manufactured trailer in 8’ to 8’-6” widths and from 20’ to 32’ lengths.
It requires a custom trailer hitch and a vehicle with the proper towing capacity. A class C drivers license is required. The number of axles required is determined by length and weight capacity of trailer. This application is cost effective in the utilization of vehicles. The trailer can be placed on site and the vehicle can still be available for other uses.
Goose Neck Trailer Conversion (GNC)
A Brown Cargo Van manufactured trailer in 8’ to 8’-6” widths and from 24’ to 40’ lengths. It requires a Light Duty Truck equipped with either a fifth wheel or Gooseneck hitch mounted in the truck bed. A class C drivers license is required. The number of axles required is determined by length and weight capacity of trailer. This is a larger version of the standard trailer and more equipment can be installed. Truck vehicle is available for other uses once trailer is sited.
Conventional Cab Chassis with Custom Body (CCB1)
This is the most commonly used chassis with Custom Bodies manufactured by Brown Specialty Vehicles. They are available in both CDL and Non-CDL configurations. This chassis offers the most combinations of engines, transmissions and other chassis options. It can be used on custom bodies from 12’ to 30’.
Cutaway Cab Chassis with Custom Body (CCB2)
This chassis is a modified version of the Medium Duty conventional cab chassis. It offers open pass through area to the rear module. It offers a shorter turning radius than a conventional chassis. A class C drivers license is required on GVWR’S below 26,000 pounds. Custom Body sizes range from 12’ through 32’.
Cutaway Van with Custom Body (CVB)
This chassis combines the short cab length of a van body with a Brown Specialty Vehicles custom modular body. A class C drivers license is required. This gives you a modular body with a short turning radius for Metro driving situations. The body can be remounted on a new chassis when the old chassis requires replacement. Custom body sizes range from 8’ to 14’.
Step-Van Chassis with Utility Body Conversion (SCC)
This chassis is used where a low step height is desired from vehicle. Body is manufactured from formed aluminum panels and features a Brown Specialty Vehicles Custom interior conversion. Body is not re-mountable. Available rear floor space ranges from 12’ to 38’.
Cab Forward Cab Chassis with Custom Body (CFB)
This is a chassis designed to achieve a shorter turning radius than a conventional cab or to allow for a longer custom body to be placed on the chassis. It is available in both CDL and Non-CDL configurations. It offers a similar number of engines, transmissions and other chassis options as does the conventional cab. Allowances must be made for cab clearance for service access. It will accommodate custom bodies form 12’ to 34’.
Light Duty Truck Cab Chassis with Body (LCB)
These are LD Trucks with Brown Specialty Vehicles custom built modular bodies installed. A class A drivers license is required. These vehicles are ideal where a small module body is required. The body can be remounted on a new chassis when the old chassis needs replacement. Custom body sizes range from 8’ to 12’.
Conventional Bus Chassis with Conversion (CBC1)
This self-propelled commercial product is most attractive to the budget minded buyer offering all the features of the front engine bus, but utilizing the economies of using a high production cab and chassis vehicle. The body is manufactured from formed steel panels. In some cases, a Class B Certified Driver's License is not required depending on the gross vehicle weight. This chassis is also available with a rear engine on some models. These vehicles are offered in 24, 28, 30, 32, 36, and 38 foot lengths.
Van Body Conversion (VBC)
These are commercial van bodies that are converted by Brown Specialty Vehicles with custom interior packages in the cargo area. A class A drivers license is required. These conversions are ideal for small work centers are required. This is a cost effective way to build a small work center. It is effective if used in metro applications due to traffic or other congestion could interfere with a larger vehicle.
Commercial Bus Chassis with Conversion (CBC2)
This high quality commercial aerodynamic product is chosen when image, handling, performance, comfort and multiple suites are required as well as reception and waiting areas. The bodies are constructed of aluminum. The Coach will require a Class B Certified Drivers License and is offered in 40, 42, and 45 foot lengths.
Motor Home Class A with Conversion (MHC1)
This front or rear drive chassis is used when and aerodynamic product is desired. The body is constructed of a steel frame work with FRP panels bonded to both the exterior and interior. It offers space for multiple suites and well as reception and waiting areas. Body is not re-mountable with new chassis when chassis needs replacement. These vehicles are offered in 24, 28, 30, 32, 36, 38 foot lengths.
Motor Home Class C with Conversion (MHC2)
This front engine coach is chosen when budget constraints and multiple exam suites are required. The body is manufactured from steel tube with FRP panels applied to the exterior and interior. This coach will also require a Class C Certified Driver's License and is offered in - -, - -, and - - foot lengths. It is the most economical motor home chassis and offers some aerodynamic appeal. It is not re-mountable when the chassis is ready for replacement.
Conventional Tractor Chassis with Custom Trailer Body
This vehicle is normally chosen when the user already has trailers in his fleet and already has a tractor to move the vehicle, or the user intends to have multiple units. This product offers lower cost (because no tractor is included) and long life. It can be a screening coach or a diagnostic coach offering multiple exam suites, multiple dressing rooms, spacious mammography suites, waiting, reception and education areas. A class A Certified Driver's License is required. This vehicle is offered with a drop frame or a flat floor and is available in 30, 32, 36, 40, 45, 48, and 53 foot lengths.
